Intro To Acrylics: Paint A Monstera Leaf Painting

Hi Jessica, I dont think you overdid it at all! The details make it interesting and make the main leaf a focal point - you've got a really nice natural looking textural mark with the details. The only thing Id suggest is perhaps the leaf at the bottom could have similar textures or less texture (like the other leaves) as it looks a bit rush or unfinished compared to the detail in the main leaf.Your tones are great and you've got a lovely style going on so I hope you keep up the painting!Thanks for sharing, Emily

I think I may have overdid the details on the main leaf but I'm mainly happy with how the leaf shapes turned out :)
