Monoprint Subtractive Method - Portrait
This class was a joyful surprise. Inspired by C. W. Mundi, I created a 5×7 ballerina print using a rubber block instead of a Gelli Plate, and the first pull absolutely amazed me. The acrylic paint with retarder gel gave me soft blends, and finishing the print with oil pastels added warmth and depth. The class encouraged experimentation, and the mixed‑media process felt both expressive and rewarding. Jerney, thank you so much for the inspiration. I see myself using the printing skills in the future.
