I've really enjoyedhis class. Using a monochrome palette is such a good idea to get me quickly into the painting techniques without worrying about choosing colors.

I used a black watercolor pigment for the cats and pandas. It was a difficult pigment to work with as it was very hard to lift, though I got some nice "fuzziness" The hedge hog, I did with Paynes Gray on 100% cotton paper and it was a much easier process. I used a white gel pen on all the images to add the whiskers and highlights.

I've watched Olga's videos for animal eyes and I am excited to try some different animals for that class project.
