Ad Design for Spotify Podcasts

Designed in Photoshop. Used graphics from Pixabay and Rawpixel. 

Started with an idea of an ad for Christmas music...but the graphic wasn't working out, so this vintage radio guy made me think of podcasts as a sort of modern radio. Also, the spots...because it's Spotify? lol

Came here because Dylan M. recommended this class in her "Digitizing Hand Drawn Sketches with Character" class. It definitely took some playing with this effect to get the hang of using it for the project, and I still feel like I'll need to redo the initial sample to wrap my head around exactly how to master this. It's a great effect and adds a lot of character and depth to graphics. Fun to play with it and test out different colour variations.
