My job was to create a 30 second pre-roll video that incorporated messaging with imagery.

I started by loosely sketching ideas of how the typographic element could fit together.

Next, I created a storyboard showing how the typography could fit with the footage I had available.

After the storyboard was signed off I chose music. I always prefer to get the music in as soon as possible, as it sets the pace and gives reference points to cut to.

The next stage was learning After Effects – thank you Phil!
