Turns out oil, acrylic, and water don't mix together nicely... unless, of course, you follow Ohn Mar's instructions and let them dry properly between layers. I considered both a painstaking rescue mission and/or abandonment for this spread, but decided this is what sketchbooks are for and kept trucking along. I'll definitely remember to put my patient pants on before I have another go at this project!!! 

I'm much more pleased with the results of round 2! My first attempt was rough, but I learned so much. 

Round 3 was loads of fun also! I was probably (very likely) being more precious than the assignment dictated, but oh well. I struggle with finding that balance...
