Melody in D Lydian

Melody in D Lydian - student project

I really enjoyed the course and decided to try writing the suggested melody. I went out of Lydian mode for a bit, because otherwise, I felt I was strongly dragged towards A becoming the tonic ^^''. There are also quite some leaps, but there was no instruction to keep it in the 1st species of counterpoint, so I hope it is OK. Wrote it in 6/8 just because the rhythm turned out like that. Hope it's all good for a rookie's practice.
