I decided to use one of my favourite books for inspiration.

The first palette was actually based on the cover, the gold was a little difficult to come up with. How do you match a metallic colour without metallic pencils? But generally I'm finding this very relaxing and low stakes. Not sure what I'll use these palettes for yet but I'm going to come back to this exercise next time I'm in a creative slump.
