This was a fun exercise, and found adding all the pen details to be very relaxing, and decided to complete another one.

 

 

I didn't originally intend for the red flowers to be as solid red as they are, but I goofed and embraced the goof as a happy accident. Really enjoyed laying out the masking fluid for this layout and using the wet into wet warmup practice to build the blue background.

 

 

Looking forward to keep practicing more loose sketches with veggies and other still life subjects to allow more of impression of the subject then attempting to paint it exactly.
