I've been missing my childhood home in lockdown, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to illustrate Malaysia (specifically rural Malaysia). Here are some key images that inspired me.

Feeling super inspired by Meagan's class and by the traditional fabric (batik), I decided to illustrate in my own style. A little more challenging to loosen up in a digital illustration, but I hope the concept itself isn't too literal.
