Created with waterproof black liner and White Knights watercolour on Fabriano 300gsm cold press fine paper. Selection of mushrooms including a morel, amanita, chanterelle, paneolus, liberty caps, sulphur tuft and cyanescens :-)

 As it was a composition of mushrooms, I struggled with knowing where to put the shadows - I tend to always go in gently out of nerves but then end up going over the same bit over and over, which I think ends up making my work look muddy. I also found the composition quite hard so this has prompted me to study this area.

I may revisit this and add some shadows to the ground to tie it together a bit more.
