Low-profile Keycap

Low-profile Keycap - student project

Hello!

Lately, I've been so interested in mechanical keyboards. I actually bought a 65% keyboard body without keycaps and switches and bought them separately to my liking. It was great at first, then I went deeper with my keyboard research. I dove into ergonomics and DIY. Right now, I can only afford to hand-wire my own. Hence, I'm making a hand-wired copy plus a modified body of the Ferris split keyboard on GitHub. Instead of Khail, I'm using Outemu low-profile switches. I then modeled and printed my own low-profile keycaps.

This is the 3D model made using Fusion 360.

This is the printed keycap on top of my first mechanical keyboard. ;)

The keyboard body is still in progress since the modeling is a bit complex and I want to make it as ergonomic as possible.
