Love Working in a Sketchbook

Love Working in a Sketchbook - student project

I have lots of sketchbooks I work in and never get bored of seeing other people's.

I use mine for all sorts of things and reasons.

*recording my ideas (sometimes I prefer drawing an idea instead of describing it with words)

*recording progress ( I can look back and see how my art has developed over the years)

WHAT INSPIRES ME

This class has just inspired me to put my inspiration folders in order. I have large folders of magazine clips, printed pictures I took, packaging, post cards etc. I don't think I will run out of inspiration soon.

So here is my inspiration list:

*nature

*magazines

*online (instagram, pinterest)

*subjects or themes I choose for my watercolor workshops

*challenges (like inktober)

*classes (like skillshare)

*client requests

Nature is my biggest inspiration and brings me the most joy.

My wish is to be able to record all the beautiful things I can see around me: plants, animals, landscapes, architecture and even people. I know I have a long way to go, but in the mean time I'm enjoying the process and also the company of my fellow artists both online and in real life.
