Loose Tulips
This class was out of my comfort zone because of the scraping technique I learnt. I used my old fruit knife for this purpose.
I did not plan the overall composition. I just went with the flow along with the teacher. She explained everything in detail and answered the why-s, which made it easy to follow.
This is my first attempt:

I felt that I had overworked it, so I gave it another try. This became softer and probably more "digestible" for the viewer. I used more water to soften the edges and emphasised more the yellow hue. I like how the blue spot turned out in the bottom right corner. I should have a bit stronger blue on the left side for balance. I didn't realise this when I was in the flow. :) I used a bit of guache to bring back some white spots.

I couldn't resist this monochrome version while editing my work in Photoshop. I like how the values turned out.

Thank you, Denise, for your dedication and for sharing your knowledge. I'm happy I tried it and learned something new from you. It was a wonderful experience.
