I don't have a floor plan for my house so I made this one in Procreate after watching this SkillShare. I changed the scale of the drawing grid so that each square was about 1 square foot. That made it easier to draw the whole room in scale. 

The front door of our house is to the left of the room through the opening at the top of this drawing. The bay windows and fireplace hearth have always made this an awkward room to furnish. Our current rug for that room is too small, so I used this orange rectangle to see how a 7' x 10' rug would fit.

The other half of the room could be used for a dining area, but it became our "office" during 2020. We're still trying to figure out the best way to fit three desks with multiple monitors and desk chairs without it being an eyesore or completely blocking traffic. We're considering some sort of bookshelf or screen to act as a visual divider for the space. This floor plan will be helpful as we sort out this area.
