The Power of Light and Shadow: A Guide for Beginners

All good work, Jo. I love the bottom sketch, the wine bottle, grapes and wine glass, as well as the thumbnail sketches above.

They're all great. I was drawn in by the painting at the top. Exactly as Diana said, the light and the shades are done so well. It is very pleasing to look at
