This was a fascinating exercise in paint sculpting. My vase got a little wonky and I should have inverted the painting and corrected it. I love Chinese Lanterns in the Fall as a dried floral arrangement. I was encouraged by the fact that even Evgenia, who is a pro, painted this multiple times to help instruct us in the process. I would definately give it another try. It is a great tutorial.
