I looked for instructions on how to paint negatively in watercolours and found this class to be very helpful. :) I've almost completed a page of exercises and have started on the next one (going into the follow up class). Negative painting is veeeery time consuming, but also so rewarding. I'm loving it.

I turned the leaf exercise into a little rainbow illustration with a different take on negative painting.

I am totally in love with the results. :)

 

Next, I started working on the square of leaves. I chose Prussian green (I just discovered this colour - never knew it even existed, but now I fell in love!):
