This was a great introduction to using Inktense pencils.  I had a few colors from my SketchBox subscription but hadn't spent much time with them. I decided to buy the set of 24 after watching this class.

I spent some time playing with the different application methods.

Monochromatic class exercise using my Payne's Grey pencil.

I thought I would try using the Inktense pencil to make my own sketch but was undecided about using hot pressed or cold pressed paper.  I made two small sketches  to see how they differed.

This was done on a molded hot press paper so it wasn't real smooth.  I also might have used the wrong side of the paper. Mostly I was interested in playing with all the application methods.

The cold pressed paper looked totally different with lots of pencil texture showing.  I liked them both.
