I've tried to paint with Gouache before but always found it difficult to get my head around it. I'm more used to either watercolours or acrylics.

I really enjoyed the experimental nature of this course, it felt low pressure and like I could just try different styles and not worry too much about producing amazing artwork.

Overall, I think I'm happier with my first peaches/ nectarines than I am with the final still life! Oh well... I found myself leaning towards combining the styles rather than keeping them separate.
