I enjoyed this class a lot. I don't normally paint like this. Layering is definitely not new to me but using such loose washes is.  I also shy away from mixing colors a lot. I normally use watercolor as an under-painting for colored pencils so I tend to treat watercolors the same way. By layering pure colors rather than making color mixes and blending them on paper.

So this was a great exercise for that. It definitely has a more abstract look.
