I've created 2 very different art journal spreads using the techniques from the E=MC Layered class.  The 1st is a bright spread featuring springtime colors, with a slightly darker message.

I don't currently have a gel plate or gel medium, so I chose to work with some patterned tissue paper that I had on hand, as well as some stamps.

My 2nd design, had a darker color palette, and featured a magazine cutout from a recent issue of Art Journal, along with more patterned tissue paper.  The text for this one is a quote from Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.
