I went to my Collected works of ee, and the ONE page that was missing was "in just” so I had to look online to make sure I got the right words to share. Where’d it go? I( don’t know. I was given that book in 1970, my senior year in HS, and I can’t believe I would have torn a page out, but weird things happen. I know the “bettyandisbel” poem. Do you need the text to it? Hey! It would make astounding prompts to use lines or titles from poetic works! What do you think? I had to look up a Wordsworth poem last night, and realized “Intimations of Immortality” chock FULL of paintable images! Hmmmm.. Need to mill this idea around. 

I put the text to "In Just-" at the bottom of this page for all of the people who have no idea what we are talking about, lol!   Once upon a time I was part of a haiku poetry group with daily prompts and it started out fun but got way out of hand way too quickly. It was crazy. I swore off prompts, yikes! But there is definitely an audience for prompts, that's for sure.

These are wonderful, Jen! I love the Klee vibes, experimentation, marks, layering, and mixed media aspects. I'm so glad you enjoyed this class and learning this art technique. I'd also love to see a children's book using this technique. Thank you for sharing your artwork and for leaving a review.  Would you mind if I shared your artwork on my Instagram?

Sorry for the delay! Yes, you can definitely share the project on instagram. I'm very glad you liked it.  It was a relief to know that the oil pastels will work well in place of regular oil paint. That will open so many opportunities!

Thanks Jennifer :) You will love the class. Even if you don't have the tubed oil paint, oil pastels will work great. It feels like an amazing new tool in the toolbox ;)
