One of my struggles -painting loose!  Another - putting the brush down.  Another - not overworking!  I had all three here and so many different techniques to practice along the way.  The shadows were a challenge, and this may have been because I was determined to use my turquoise in there, and this has ended with a darker look overall.  I went a bit rogue!  I would love to try this one again one day :). Supplies:  Bockingford 300gsm paper, Winsor Newton Cotman colours (a mixture of too many 🤣), Cotman and Fuumuui watercolour brushes.
