Hi Darren Smith, Thank you for making time to send me this impressive and thorough feedback, very much appreciate it. Yes, this song is my composition hence, so glad that you liked it. As a bedroom composer (Edward Vancea - my Youtube channel), I was reluctant regarding the mix and master steps. So, in order to improve my music I decided to try Allen`s mixing course and Your mastering course on Skillshare platform.  The DAW that I use is Cubase 9.5.  Regarding the Mix: The Dip - I think this was caused due to the change in bow dynamics of the viola, instead of one note there are two (same) notes repeating shortly one after the other. I did not notice this, thank you for pointing it out for me. The rhythmic pluck instrument  - Thanks for the idea to use multi band compressor. Regarding the Master: You are absolutely right, the master that I made looses the original mood.  I tried to aim for the telephone speakers, so I cut very heavy on low end and pop out the mid and high levels, kind of a bad idea. I used two compressors and an EQ to do this.  When I was mixing this piece I made the Piano the central instrument and around it gravitate all the other instruments, as you mentioned. The master deviate from this chain of thought and push in front the violin and rhythmic plucks too much, they overwhelm the piano frequency, and also change the intended mood of the track. Thanks for the tips that you gave me: regarding the two limiters (I indeed used just one limiter and crank the gain too much), regarding the solo follow selection, I found out that Cubase 9.5 has it. I find all of your tips very useful.
