Japanese is a beautiful language. It's very expressive, and it has an interesting structure that makes it easier to understand than other languages. You can pronounce certain sounds with your mouth differently than in English, which makes learning Japanese very challenging but interesting at the same time.

When I lived in Japan, learning hiragana and katakana helped me so much on the pronunciation...VS. Romanji. I'm sure it wasn't super accurate but at least people could usually understand me! Good Luck...Japanese people love when we make effort to learn their language.
