At first glance it seems to be a simple technique, but when it comes to the gradient, there were a lot of problems... I have used some other techniques to fix it, like shape builder tool... This is only a test Logo to play with the concept.

It is interesting, but it needs a lot more practise...

With the results I am quite satisfied.
