I loved this project and want to keep making paintings this way! 

Degas paintings have been a favorite for years, and when I saw Dancer Tilting, the color just popped for me. I intended a much calmer palette, but I've figured out that calm palettes are not in my DNA and I'm okay with that. Ha. So I just went with the flow. 

I loved the color mixes in the floor, so I tried to create something similar for my background. I wanted one bold image and one softer, and feel I achieved that somewhat. Had too much paint with my stencil for the large circle, but I still like that one. I loved Degas' texture in the tutu, and tried to add some to my little circles in different ways. 

Another great painting day! This is turning into a fun habit!!
