Inky Florals

The final results of all the exercises in this class.
I had a lot of fun taking this class!

Getting to know my brushes (I had never done ink or aquarelle and almost never used round brushes) and small tests of foliage :

Rose test: thanks Kiley for the explanations! I didn't manage to get the more graphic and clean style of the video, I think a bit of practice will be necessary to achieve a more 'modern' style.

Abstract bouquets: free and a little crazy...
This is a really relaxing and liberating technique, which allows you to draw entirely from memory or without reference and have fun.

And finally the little black and white bouquets with ink pens.
I confess that I did not respect the 'folkloric' aspect but rather followed my inspiration.
Having had a very mixed and rather gray result with the white gel pen on the first tests, I then chose to replace it with white acrylic paint applied with a very small brush (quite difficult to master by the way) for a much more contrasting result.

I really like this style of drawing and I'm happy to have discovered it :-)

Overall very happy to have taken this class, thanks Kiley!
