I've chosen a tiger for my logo of an Indian restaurant. First I did some research into Indian restaurant logos and then did a mind map of things that reminded me of Indian food and also connected to tigers.

I sketched out a few ideas, exploring incorporating some foods or spices in the tiger image, as well as some traditional Indian patterns:

And also some concentrating on the tiger form:

I finally chose the one on the left as my logo:

Next I imported my image and vectorized it in Sketch also trying out a few colour scheme ideas

 

In the end I went with the Indian flag colours version and paired it with a few typefaces to see how it looks:

 

I liked the one on the far right the most and decided to go with a green text which led me to the final logo:

 

It's my first real attempt at designing a logo and I'm not very confident with the pen tool yet so any feedback would be great!
