This is a rework of an illustration I've been thinking about. It's for an online publication that addresses the taboo of under/unemployment, and will accompany a piece about a recent college graduate who quit her job and returned home.

The original sketch wasn't terrible, but it was a bit static and symmetrical:

The concept of invisible lines was particularly useful to me in rethinking the composition, as was the idea of cropping to highlight the action.
