How to Draw 101 Ep. 1 - Basic Drawing Skills & Sketching Exercises With Pencil For Beginners

Hey, Mikel. Thanks for uploading your drawings. Good job here. I see the improvement on your 2nd portrait - much better curves, and somehow the look of the woman is more living. The glasses looks just great - perfectly placed in perspective. I see a bit of proportion issue on the dancing figure. The legs a bit larger compared to the upper body. But that's okay. The curves turned out great there. You managed to draw the chair very good by paying attention to the little details. Lots of students struggle with this simple form, and actually is not that easy. I can see the flow in your fish, and that was the goal there. Altogether, nicely done. And I'm glad you learned a lot. Now, if you had an extra minute to leave a review below the class, that would be awesome. It could give me extra motivation. Anyway, keep up the good work, Mikel. 🙂

Hello Tamas, thank you so much for taking your time to comment in each drawing. It is good to hear the teacher's opinion. Of course, I left mistakes as they came and did not correct them. Now I added the pawn as I removed by mistake. All the best to you!

Thanks for updating your uploaded project. Your pawn chess piece looks just great, Mikel. It's a well-shaded sketch. It looks realistic to me. By the way, mistakes are our friends in art.  At least, I look at them like this. They point out where we can improve. I make mistakes all the time. 🙂 Thank you so much for your encouraging review.
