Honey-Bee

The assignment slightly intimidated me because I had never done a morphing loop before.

Because lately, I've been fighting with inspiration, I chose the first idea that popped up in my head (I was dreaming about having a clever idea like Giulia's) but I'm okay with the two elements I've used for my morphing.

For the sketches I used Procreate and then the animation was done in Rough Animator. I thought that Malachy Egan's idea with the stripes getting around the mosquito was so clever, so I had to try it out and apply it to my bee. I feel I haven't done a good job as he did, but I'm proud of my final result.

In Procreate I've tried to imagine how I could morph the jar of honey into the bee, using all the principles learned in this class. It was helpful to draw small steps like in a storyboard, so that I could understand the process.

And this is the final result. Hope you'll like it. Honey-Bee - image 2 - student project

Thank you again Giulia for this class. It was amazing and can't wait to make my second morphing loop using what I've learned. Honey-Bee - image 3 - student project
