This is a shot from the 1st project.  I photographed a little league baseball game and this is one of my 10 best images.  I have a Nikon D3200 with 2 kit lenses.  After taking this course, I'm thinking about upgrading to a Nikon D750 (a full-frame camera) and investing in something like at 70-200mm lens with an aperture of at least 2.8.  The D750 will allow me to shoot with a much higher ISO and still maintain quality in low light situations such as an indoor volleyball or basketball game.  I know that the full frame camera will mean that the new lens will actually only shoot at 200mm so at some point I may consider getting another lens that will go to something like 400mm.
