This is my first Zine experience! 

I knew I wanted to try an Illustration Zine, but I had a hard time deciding what the subject was going to be. I thought waaay to hard about it. Next time, I will listen to Kate and just pick something and start drawing.

I ended up choosing one of my first ideas, "Redhead Nicknames". I've been a redhead my whole life... :D and throughout my existence, I have been called plenty of names. Of course it bothered me when I was younger, but now I can make light of it. These are just a few of the creative names that I have heard over the years.

I stuck with simple illustrations and a little bit of color, to get the point across better. I am still learning  illustration and honing my style, but these tiny drawings were so much fun to do

I made a couple of photocopies to see how they would turn out. I don't think I've ever felt that excited about a photocopy before.  

Kate, your teaching style and enthusiasm is infectious! Thanks for the class.

:: Update :: 2-28-16

So excited! I got my risograph prints in the mail from Kate and they are beautiful. Now I just need to get to folding and figure out what I'm going to do with them all. Thanks again, Kate!
