This was the best explanation of the practical application of colour theory I have heard.  I’m still not sure I can tell a cold blue from a warm one, but I can see the difference it makes when mixing with them.

I used Winsor & Newton Cotman pans in Prussian Blue, Yellow Ochre and Lemon Yellow to mix the greens for the project.  I still need to work on making darker hues.
