I had hoped to work my way through the projects over the next few days. Hope you don’t mind that I didn’t paint the rocks, I really don’t like painting rocks in water! And I wanted to relax and enjoy the project. As I work through another project I realise I don’t enjoy painting layers of black and white, there’s a lot of waiting around for the gouache to dry and there’s a lot of colour bleeds. So sorry I didn’t enjoy the last project and the amount of gouache needed left the painting looking bulky. I used student quality and professional quality gouache in the hopes it would make it easier, I still had loads of reactivation even with very few strokes of the brush. sorry.
