This project consists of photos I took during a golf scramble, which allowed me to practice composition, framing, and using my surroundings to help tell a story. My goal was not only to capture the golfers themselves, but also the venue and energy of the event. I applied composition techniques by making sure the golfers were clearly framed and by creating balance within the group photos through their placement. By incorporating elements such as the golf course, water features, and cart paths, I was able to provide context thus easily telling a story through the photos. By taking both close-up and wider shots to add variety and visual interest throughout the project, I engaged with the perspective skill.  One of the biggest takeaways from this course is that every photo should be taken with intention. Composition, perspective, and storytelling all work together to either strengthen or weaken an image. When these elements are thoughtfully combined, they help create a photograph that is memorable and provokes emotions.
