This shows some of the experimentation as a result of learning about transparency and how to get a glowing effect.  I didn't have the brand nor the colors Elina used nor did I have any non-opaque oranges.  I have Winsor Newton paints, so, after some examination of specifications for transparency and experimentation, I decided upon Winsor Yellow and Alizarin Crimson and then blended the two for my orange. (the right column #1, 2 & 5 show these colors and I also found it worked best for me to do paints on dry vs wet on wet). I added a touch of Paynes Gray for the deepest reds. I learned a lot, was very happy with the class and especially the end result, below.  Thanks for the great class.
