Girl at Sea

Girl at Sea - student project

Now I started this as the class project, but I kind of just did a study using all of the knowlodge I gained from all the 3 different painting classes Marco has posted here in skillshare. I wasn't going to post this because it doesn't perfectly fit with the assignment given, but I saw that this class doesn't have any class projects, and I think that is really a shame, because I usually take the class project into consideration more than anything before taking a class. So I wanted to do this to show what I've learned from this 3 PERFECT classes:Girl at Sea - image 1 - student project

This is my first painting I am really proud of, and I only have Marco Bucci to thank for making such a good class. This might be a bit obvious but this is a screenshot of the original piece, so a lot is lost, but I hope it conveys that this is really a class worth taking. I really had not real experience with digital painting, or painting at all for that matter, and I feel like now I'm ready to do various studies and that I'm ready to just pick up a brush and go out painting (maybe after the quarantine ends lol). This is not just a digital painting class, the knowledge here is translated to any medium, and I'll definetly pick a physical brush in the near future. I really recommend to any learning artist to take the Digital Painting 1, 2 and 3, aswell as the planes of the head where Marco goes into detail into the planes of the face and light and shadow and all that good stuff, and lastly digital brushwork. I really wanted to thank Marco Bucci for posting these classes here, I loved every second and I'm really lucky to the be able to get this education for so cheap
