I'm growing ginger, only one has sprouted so far. My medium is coco coir brick. My light is around 12 inches up right now I believe and it's just a shop light at 10,000 lumens. I will wait for my ginger to have a couple leaves then transplant to a large pot around 5 gallons.  I'll eventually fertilize with rabbit pellet tea. I have no clue if this set up will work out but I'm hoping for fresh ginger in the future.
