Hi! This is my first ever Skillshare lesson, and I had so much fun! 

the creature I ended up with is a sort of moth-human-dragon thing, and it was really challenging to come up with a somewhat cohesive story/design— but here’s the original! I drew it all in bed, and I also only had funky craft scissors nearby so it’s more than a little bit messy haha

After some thought I had a pretty good idea of how to draw it how I wanted, so here’s the finished design~

I ended up with the name Garland! She’s a witch from an urban-fantasy world, that accidentally turned herself into a dragon/lizard/moth thing after too much expirementing and not enough lab safety lol

 

after that, I turned it into a simple little animation!

This animation is 6 frames total, and 6 fps. Getting the pacing I wanted for everything was a bit difficult to manage, but I do believe I persevered.
Overall it took abt 3 hours, and while I wish I could have gotten it done faster I’m still very happy with it! 

I love her design, and I definitely plan on using her for future stories and projects. Thank you for the super fun class!
