Such an imformative class on composition.   I didn't quite follow the video instructions. I chose to use papers I had previously made for collage.  The black is chalkboard paint on paper and the grey paper was created from a liquid graphite that was quite thick so it's very textured.  I just glued the papers down after experimenting with the composition instead of copying the shapes. The images were not planned but just came together as I laid them down.  It was quite an addicting process.
