My words to describe the original pattern were:  geometric, white spaces like a separate shape, round, slight pattern within a pattern, limited palette, high contrast color, solid and textured, single shape, moderny retro, asymmetrical shape.

Overall I think I hit most items on my list, maybe not the modern retro.
