Orange
For my first drawing, I attempted orange quarters. I struggled to get the shadows to work. It seemed the more shadow I added, the older the fruit started to look (not what I wanted!), so I kept added more orange. The end result is a little more intense that I intended.

Kiwifruit
The is my second piece and I'm much happier with this one. I think having a greater variety of colours helped me achieve a better balance. I also used an odourless solvent with this one so that helped as well.
