From Messy Kitchen to Irresistible: 3 Styled Food Videos

For this project, I’m sharing three different food video examples where I applied the styling and composition principles from this class.

And before you panic ☺️ no, you don’t need to film three.

I filmed three to show you how the same decisions can work across different foods.

You’ll find:

• A full pancake recipe video (linked below) so you can see the techniques in motion

• Screenshot collages from two other food shoots (Dubai chewy cookie and pistachio cake) so you can clearly study the styling and framing choices

Why screenshots?

Because sometimes it’s easier to analyze composition when everything is still. You can pause, zoom in, and really notice how the frame is controlled.

All of these were filmed in a regular home kitchen setup. Nothing fancy. Just intentional choices.

Your project only needs ONE food video.

Film something simple. Apply what we discussed about portion control, background control, framing, and vertical composition.

And if you’re not ready to share a full video yet, you can absolutely upload screenshots that show how you styled and composed your scene.

Start small. That’s how momentum builds.

You might surprise yourself. 😉
