From Mascot to T-Shirt: The Cherry Twins’ Next Adventure 🍒 YEY!

Dear students,

I'm so happy you're checking out my project! This challenge is all about encouraging you to take the next step with your artwork.

A finished (mascot) illustration doesn't have to stay tucked away in your Procreate gallery or even in the Skillshare project gallery. Instead, let's give it a new life by turning it into something you can wear, share, or even sell.

  • For this project, I took the Cherry Twins from my previous class, Mascot Illustration: Step-by-Step, from Analog Sketching to Procreate Art, and gave them a new role: the heroes of a retro T-shirt graphic.
  • By adding color, bold typography, and a clean, straightforward layout, I turned the character illustration into a complete design while keeping its playful personality intact.

That’s the main idea behind this class: build on something you’ve already created. Your mascot could become a T-shirt graphic, a product label, a sticker design, or something entirely different. You don’t need to start from scratch to take your work somewhere new.

🍒 Now it's your turn: Get your illustration and give it a try. Upload your finished design, and feel free to include the original illustration alongside it so we can see the transformation. Mockups are welcome, too.

I’d love to see what your character becomes!

P.S. If you haven’t created your mascot yet, start here: Mascot Illustration: Step-by-Step, from Analog Sketching to Procreate Art.
