Four Square and Seven Flowers Ago

Four square and seven flowers ago.... OK perhaps this pattern isn't historic, but is FUN, as is this class.
Helen, enjoyed it. I really had missed taking one of your full Graphic Design for Lunch classes for Adobe Illustrator. I do get my little fixes from your youtube videos.
This class was fabulous. I never think to use the shape builder tool for coloring. I should probably do that more. I had plenty of doodled flower laying about since I spent the better part of the last year doodling "awful" flowers. I thought day 306's flower would work nicely for this class, so I vectorized it. I took one of the doodled layers and fleshed out the pattern.
Here is the little square pattern
For those not familiar with US history the title, "Four square and seven flowers ago" is a play on words from a well known speech that the 16th US president Abraham Lincoln gave that is known as the Gettysburg Address, which famously starts "Four score and seven years ago". Many US school children have to memorize all or part of that speech.
