Hi Ineke, Nice work shading your trees and I like the whites you left. Again, I think you are working on hot pressed paper....? It makes these lessons a little more challenging. I think if you glazed over the edges a bit,(a glaze being a thin mixture of one colour, in this case a turquoise would be good) that will make the focal point where the light is coming through the trees stand out better. However, with hot pressed paper, the glaze may lift what is underneath so don't do that if you are on hot press. (or even cold pressed sold in a pad might lift...I recommend buying paper by the sheet as it is the best quality.) Your trail edges are a bit sharp but that can easily be softened with a moist brush. Great effort here though Ineke and I hope you will carry on with this technique as you are very good at keeping the whites which is a challenging thing. Well done! Thank you for your feedback. It helps me a lot to know what to do next time. I used a Hahnemühle Brittannia paper pad, cold-pressed. It was a bit overwhelming to paint. As soon as I did the pathway I knew it wasn't what I wanted. Still, it was a good learning school to do it this way.

Not my favourite one. I took some time to finish it off.
