The original photo taken was over exposed and didn't bring out the color of my jersey nor the fun print of my shorts.

The masking tool stood out to me and helped me dissect the photo to make the necessary edits to bring out the color in the background, remove imperfections and bring out the blue color of my jersey and gecko print of my shorts.  

Lowering the exposure was a very easy edit but finding the balance between highlighting the gecko print, and making the color of my jersey pop was where I went back and forth with - because I wanted it to look authentic as possible, without overdoing it.
